In today's educational landscape, the seamless integration of student information systems with digital learning environments is crucial. We have successfully developed a project that synchronizes student data between popular student tracking systems such as Parnassys and Somtoday with Google Workspace for Education. This integration ensures that student accounts are created or updated based on the academic year and class structure, providing an efficient and up-to-date digital learning experience.
The TWIST app, developed for Onderwijscentrum Twijn, is an innovative project that won Project Speciaal 2017. This app is designed to assist students with physical and mental disabilities by enabling them to interact and answer questions using head or button controls. As the project leader, I managed the development process and collaborated with a dedicated team to create this inclusive educational tool. The TWIST app exemplifies how technology can be harnessed to make learning accessible to all students, regardless of their physical or mental challenges.
